Designed by Mario Marenco for Arflex in 1970, the Marius&Marius sofa and armchair embody a measured reflection on comfort, articulated through essential design. The generous proportions and continuous lines give shape to a static system in which each element maintains a precise structural coherence. The poplar wood base houses an internal tubular metal structure, hidden from view but decisive in guaranteeing solidity and visual lightness. Seat, back and armrests are conceived as separate but integrated elements, favouring a functional approach to maintenance and enhancing attention to detail.
